I can't help but laugh when fashion magazines claim that Brown, Navy - or what have you, is the "NEW Black". It inevitably get's published somewhere every year. Let's be honest no other color will ever replace black. Black will always be Black. Why do they insist on trying to replace Black? Isn't Black a staple for every wardrobe? For me it's a mainstay. ...And when I'm stumped on what to wear, it's nice to know that I can just fall back on something black and still feel chic. One thing is for sure...Black is not going away & it never will.

I agree too. It is one of those phrases that gets thrown around. Even though, I admit, I just wrote a post where I said green is the new black. But I was talking about sustainability and poking fun at the ___ is the new black phrase.
